Latela · MentorshipHub & Investment Club

Soar. Inspire. Lead.

|

Our mission is to shape a generation of leaders who refuse to be defined by their challenges. We don't just teach; we cultivate. We foster meaningful relationships that create accountability and courage. We ground our members in convictions that turn their dreams into actionable impact.

Whether you are a student, a professional, or a dreamer, LATELA is your platform to shape your nation and your world. Join us, and let's build the future—together.

The Name

Born in Acholi land.

Latela takes its name from the Acholi people of Northern Uganda. On one of our team leader's visits, an elder distinguished three names: Ladit, Rot and Latela.

"The first two are hereditary — they come to you as a right. But if you are distinguished as Latela by the community, you are recognised as a leader."

That truth landed. It became the very thing we wanted to inspire in young people — to be identified, by their community, as leaders.

Our Story

From a few conversations to a movement.

Latela began as individual mentorship offered by Advocate Naboth Muhairwe and his wife to young people who reached out to them. The number kept growing.

In 2023, those scattered conversations were converged into one community — and Latela was registered as two corporate entities: Latela MentorshipHub and Latela Investment Club.

Foundation

Built on Biblical principles.

Scripture is not decoration at Latela — it is the foundation. Every program, relationship and decision is anchored in the conviction that wisdom is to be lived, and then passed on.

"He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children."

— Psalm 78:5–6
